Ranked climbing guide: Apex Legends Split 2

Split 2 raised Diamond entry to 70 RP and left the kill cap at 12. That is Respawn telling you to stop dying sixth with eight kills. This guide is the boring version of climbing, which is the version that works.

Drop plan

Pick two pois and a backup. Contesting a third-party drop every game is a content strategy. Edge pois with a guaranteed rotate into zone will make you feel slow and then make you Diamond. If your three-stack cannot agree on two pois, you do not have a three-stack.

RP math

• Fourth place is the floor. Below that you are donating.
• Kills before fourth are a bonus, not a plan.
• A 1-HP third party after you already have fourth is greed. Greed is how Diamond stays Diamond.

Comms

Call health, not vibes. “He’s one” is a lie you tell yourselves. Call the number. Call the team count. Call the zone pull. If you need a shot-caller, it is the person who is not holding W.
