New games this week: October 26–November 1, 2026

This is a dated list, not a rumor board. The eight games below are the ones Game Informer, Xbox Wire, Nintendo’s US eShop, or a dedicated Gematsu post actually pin to a weekday between October 26 and November 1. Gematsu’s October 25 Japan week-roundup confirms several of the same platforms without printing a weekday; where those lists disagree, we say so.

Fangtopia — October 26

Today on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. Game Informer’s 2026 schedule prints October 26 on those three platforms. Gematsu’s Japan week-roundup lists the same SKUs — Steam, Epic Games Store, and Stove on PC — without a weekday. We did not independently confirm price or cross-save from an official Secret Mode page, so those stay off this list.

Hunter’s Moon — October 26

Today, PlayStation 5 only. Game Informer dates it October 26. Gematsu’s week-roundup and Push Square’s PS5 week board both put the same one-platform SKU in this window. That is the folk-horror narrative, not a multi-platform launch.

Minecraft (Switch 2) — October 27

Tuesday. Nintendo’s US eShop page says “Releases 10/27/26.” Official store copy: Vibrant Visuals as the Switch 2 visual path, Switch worlds can be carried over, and the Super Mario Mash-Up Pack is included — 15 tracks and 40 player skins. Vibrant Visuals is not available in some play, including split-screen and certain Marketplace worlds. Publisher note on that same page: digital Switch owners can get the digital Switch 2 Standard Edition free, or pre-order Deluxe or Ultimate at a discount, by January 31, 2027. The page does not print a dollar price in the listing we checked. Nintendo Life’s confirmed Switch 2 dates list matches October 27 (US).

Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy — October 27

Tuesday on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. Xbox Wire dates the Xbox SKU October 27 and marks Xbox Play Anywhere. Gematsu lists the same four platforms plus Epic and GOG on PC. Xbox Wire’s blurb calls it the trilogy’s final chapter. That is publisher copy on a first-party calendar, not a review.

The Séance of Blake Manor — October 27

Tuesday on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. Xbox Wire dates it October 27 and puts it on Game Pass with Xbox Play Anywhere. Gematsu lists the same three consoles for this week. The PC game is already out; this is the console pass.

SULFUR — October 28

Wednesday on Xbox, per Xbox Wire, with Smart Delivery on that listing. Gematsu’s week-roundup spreads the SKU across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC (Steam). Metacritic’s week board tags October 28 as the Early Access exit. Xbox Wire does not use the words “leaves Early Access.” Treat the 1.0 claim as Metacritic’s tag, not Xbox’s.

Phantom Blade Zero — October 29

Thursday digitally on PlayStation 5 and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), per S-GAME via Gematsu. Steam’s store page prints October 28, 2026. That is the usual Pacific-date listing, not a second street date — the clock writeup on this desk walks through the conversion. Physical Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate PS5 editions are dated 2027 with no month. For preload and regional unlock hours, see that separate brief.

The Wolf Among Us Remastered — October 29

Thursday on Xbox, per Xbox Wire’s October 23 calendar. Gematsu’s Japan week-roundup does not list this title at all. Metacritic’s October 26–November 1 board dates the remaster October 29 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox, and marks the Switch and Switch 2 versions delayed with no new date. We are not pretending those are one list. The ID@Xbox dates piece already on this desk flagged the title; this is the weekday, not a reprint of that showcase recap.
