Fortnite dates the Obsession collab: Item Shop, October 21

Epic put a day on it. On October 19 the official Fortnite account posted “Found the One Wish Willow. Oct. 21.” ComingSoon and Dot Esports both read that as the Obsession Item Shop drop during Fortnitemares. Our Fortnitemares brief already had Obsession on the October collab list with no date. This is the date.

What Epic actually said

The Fortnitemares 2026 post listed Obsession among collabs rolling through the month, next to FNAF, Hazbin Hotel, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Beetlejuice, and the rest. The October 19 post is the first official clock we can check: October 21, tied to the One Wish Willow — the sprite v42.40 already put in the loot pool.

Epic has not published the shop contents, a V-Bucks price, or a named Outfit on fortnite.com. ComingSoon notes the teaser does not confirm the female figure in the clip. Recaps expect an Obsession pack. Until the Shop lists it, names and prices are not facts.

Shop hour: sources split

Epic’s post has a day, not a time. Dot Esports files the drop at the daily shop reset, 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT. Other recaps use 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT. Those are not the same clock, and neither is on fortnite.com. If you are hunting the tab, wait for the in-game Shop on October 21 rather than a third-party hour.
