Fortnite pro settings guide 2026
Sensitivity, builds, and the two settings that still get new players killed.

Copied pro settings are how you inherit someone else’s bad habits. This is a baseline. Change one thing at a time. If you change four and play worse, you will not know which one did it.
Mouse
| Setting | Baseline | Why |
|---|---|---|
| DPI | 800 | Enough range. Stop buying 1600 because a streamer did. |
| X / Y | 6.5% / 6.5% | Same on both. Vertical boost is a 2019 habit. |
| Targeting | 35% | Lets you track without turning into a turret. |
| Build / edit | Instant + confirm on release | The two settings that still get people killed. |
Controller
Linear, 40% look, 2–3% boost, 0.07–0.09 deadzone if your sticks are clean. If they are not clean, replace the controller before you blame the game. Edit on touch pad or a paddle. If you do not have paddles, claw is not a personality, it is a workaround.
Display
- Performance mode on. You are not here for the clouds.
- 3D resolution 100%. Stretching it is a 2018 clip.
- Motion blur off. Always.
Revisit this after the next major season, not after every patch. v33.20 did not change your DPI.
