Best campaign loadouts for Black Ops 7

The Black Ops 7 campaign is generous with guns and stingy with armor plates on Veteran. These loadouts assume you want to finish the mission, not film a knife-only challenge.

Stealth kit

• Suppressed SMG with a reflex. Close rooms, no alarm.
• Pistol with a suppressor as backup. The campaign pistol is not a joke this year.
• Stun, not flash. Flash bounces in the new interior spaces and blinds you.

Loud kit

AR with a mid-range optic, underbarrel grenade, and the armor-piercing ammo you find in mission 4. Save the underbarrel for the armored push in mission 6. Using it on the first patrol is how people rerun the checkpoint.

Last three missions

Swap to the LMGish battle rifle the game hands you in the armory before the island. It has the ammo you need for the turret sections and still aims fast enough for the interior. Carry a shotgun on the back slot. There is a hallway. You will know it.
